Includes the Grand Ballroom set with round banquet tables, white chairs, and your choice of linens. You are welcome to provide your own special decorations and theme. Lighted trees line the walls and a our beautiful bar is available for your beverage service.
FIELD TRIPS * DAY CAMPS
Bring the children and a sack lunch, and “high tail it” to Meritt Bois D’Arc Buffalo Ranch and enjoy a day of fun and relaxation. This program is designed for school groups, daycare centers, private schools, church youth groups, and homeschoolers that want to enjoy a fun and informative day for the children.
Your day will include a hayride around the property to get a glance at those magnificent buffalo. Group photo to be taken with the buffalo in the background, to be given to the teacher. Activities include roping stations to test your skills, craft time, and a horse grooming-saddling demonstration at the town of Buffalo Hill. Also, enjoy an educational film on buffalo and guided games for the children (e.g. bounce house, sack races, tug-of-war, relays). If you like, you can drop a line in one of our stocked fishing ponds (bring your own gear and bait). No license required.
CLUB GATHERINGS AND MEETINGS
We have a great location for your next club gathering and meeting. All organizations such as FFA, 4H, Scouts, associations, etc., come spend the day at the Buffalo Ranch. Conduct your own activities or other activities can be arranged to meet your needs along with excellent food and entertainment.
COLLEGE DEPARTMENT MEETINGS
We have two areas of meeting space, small for groups of 10 to 50, and large for groups of 500 seated in rounds or 990 in chairs only. HALF DAY OR FULL DAY MEETING INCLUDES MEETING ROOMS WITH BREAKOUT AREAS (high speed Internet service) with attached restrooms. Your choice of room set-up, podium, microphone, and screen (additional A/V equipment is just a request away).

Available through our preferred vendor – The Learning E.D.G.E. – who teams up with Meritt Bois D’Arc Buffalo Ranch to provide a unique, exciting, and customized team building or retreat experience that will challenge your group to bond together and to be competitive in each of the adventure learning challenges. Our Grand Buffalo Ballroom is a great space for those large events complete with all amenities you might be needing. Themed events available (western or other). Event includes use of Grand Buffalo Ballroom with VIP upper mezzanine overlooking the ballroom with sofas and cocktail tables. Tables and chairs, linens, china, food, and drink are available. You add your entertainment as you custom arrange your event.
